Knockatoo Pty Ltd commissioned omcre8tiv to help develop and commercialize their children’s tv series, “Liza The Lizard.” the objective was to refine the characters, create a 12-part story arc, assemble a crew and cast, attract investors, and ensure legal protection for the creators.

“Liza The Lizard” is a children’s animated tv series focused on adventure, learning, and diversity. it follows the journey of liza, a five-year-old blue-tongue lizard, and her family as they explore australia, encountering diverse anthropomorphic animals and solving everyday problems. it addresses diversity education for young children, promotes acceptance, tolerance, and environmental awareness, celebrates social, cultural, and ability diversity, respects indigenous cultures and the environment.

we explored distribution and production options and animation production by local studios, grants and investment by state and federal film bodies plus the potential for expansion into merchandise, school visits, and an interactive Liza The Lizard app with educational content.

“Liza The Lizard” is an impactful tv series promoting diversity, acceptance, and environmental responsibility.
